During her six years of creating elegant, clever clothes, Julia Neaman Klagsbrun found herself celebrated on the cover of Women's Wear Daily, in the pages of Vogue, Elle and Lucky magazines, on the coveted shelves of Barneys New York and on the season finale of "Sex and the City."  Julia's tailored trousers, featherweight pintucked Summer dresses, and imaginative knits are favorites among the professionally stylish: Sarah Jessica Parker, Chloe Sevigny, and Reese Witherspoon are fans.  But more importantly, Julia pieces are the wardrobe staples of smart, cool women who want perfectly crafted clothing that expresses wit, intelligence, and straightforward sensuality.  Julia studied design at Parsons, and received Master's degrees from NYU and Columbia University in Philosophy and Public Health, respectively.  She stands a striking 6'3" and has consequently devoted plenty of time (professional and personal) considering the effects of proportion.  This attention comes through in the subtle drama of her work, garments that are as quiet as they are smashing.
